The Full Face Mask course teaches you how to properly use a full face mask.
This is a great way to extend your dive season and keep your face comfortable while you dive in colder waters. These are the same masks that can have communication systems and allow you to talk underwater!
This is also a required course for the Public Safety Diver Program. The training is fully conducted in Confined Water.
Prerequisites:
You must be certified Open Water Diver, or higher.
Minimum age: 10 years old.
Number of dives: Confined water training is required and fully completed in our indoor pool in Colorado Springs!
No open water dives are required.
Category 2 Specialty
($300 each or any 2 in Category 2 for $500)

Full face mask rental for the duration of the course
Digital certification card in the SSI App
Full Face Mask digital kit ($50).
Important note:
One of the documents required for this course is the Medical Statement. Depending on your answers to the questionnaire a physician’s or other legally certified medical provider’s signature on the Medical Statement might be required prior to you getting in the water. It is important to read the form ahead of time so you have plenty of time to set an appointment if necessary. Click HERE to download the form.
You can learn how to tell if a physician’s or other legally certified medical provider’s signature is required by reading the form’s instructions or our FAQ. Don’t worry if you still are unsure whether a signature is required on your form or not, once you sign the course’s DocuSign Packet, we will contact you about it, if needed. Please remember that the Medical Statement’s 3rd page must be signed by a DO, MD, NP, or PA-C. A Doctor’s Note is NOT acceptable.
